MY FUTURE STUDIES Well hello everyone, hope you are all fine. Today I'm going to write about a postgraduate course that I will consider taking in the future. I would really like to finish my career, and start working immediately, at least for period of time. Unfortunately, in todays labour field, specially for my career which is Political Science, it´s difficult to find a job without having a master or some kind of postgraduate diploma. For this reason, I think I would like to do a course about international relations. Actually, the University of Chile has one, in their Instituto de Estudios Internacionales named Master in International Studies, which sound really interesting to me. Even if it is really expensive, I hope I would be able to do a postgraduate course after finishing my current studies. The Office Well hello, today I wanted to talk about another TV show that has become one of my favourites really fast, which is The Office. It’s an American sitcom that first started in 2005 and has 9 seasons. I’m watching it on Amazon Prime Video and I’m already in the 7 seasons, which makes me sad actually, because it will end soon. It’s about a paper company called Dunder Mufflin, and just the day to day life of the employees at this company. The best part about this show is their characters, they are just so funny and weird. First of all, and one of the main characters, is Michael Scott, the boss and manager of the office. His character is so funny and at the same time really stupid and dumb. Another one is Dwight Schrute, also very funny and weird, is the right hand of the boss. And my last favourites must be Jim Halpert and Pam Beesley, the main couple of the office. At first, I thought that the show was boring, because It is just set in an office, but it is really good and fun
A TV show I recommend Hello everyone! Today I'm going to talk about a tv show that i have started watch it this week. It is called "Queen's gambit” and it's about an orphan girl who is very talented at chess. She rapidly becomes a recognized player in the sport and starts going to national and international championships, beating a lot of players with great trajectory. It's interesting how we get to see the main character grow. Beth Harmon starts playing chess at the age of eight with the janitor at the orphan house, then is recluted by a chess teacher at a nearby school. From there her success escalates and she begins travelling to compete in different states; and then, as we mentioned, she moves on to international competitions taking place in Mexico, Paris and Moscow. I think that is a very good and entertaining show, I never think that anything related to chess would like me so much, but this is a gorgeous thing to watch. And also, the actors and actress do
THE BEST HOLIDAY I HAVE HAD Today I would like to talk about my best holiday or the best trip I have ever had, which was to Peru and Bolivia. We went this summer, at the beginning of February with a group of 5 friends, my sister and me. It is the first holiday we have together as friends. We went to many places and cities in Peru and Bolivia, starting our trip by airplane from Santiago to Arica, from there we went by car to Tacna, and then directly to Arequipa where we spent a few nights. Then we went by bus to Cusco, where we went to the Rainbow Mountain and Machu Picchu. Peru is so beautiful. Then we went to Bolivia and visit the Uyuni salt flat, very beautiful too. we travel to this cities and places In about two weeks in total. We did many recreational activities, such as trekking, getting to know Machu Picchu, we went riding on motorcycles, we rode a boat on the lake Titicaca, and other things to explore and learn as much as possible of the culture and the countries. A country I would like to visit Today I wanted to write about a country I would really like to go to and visit: the UK in general, but more specific, England. I have always liked England for some reason, it’s really appealing to me, mostly because I really like history and historical places. I know not that much actually about the UK, or England, but I found it interesting, mainly their geography and very beautiful landscapes. Honestly, I like the UK and England mainly because of their culture, and because of a lot of movies and series that I have watched. Also, I really like their accent, specially the Scottish one. I found it quite funny, even though is difficult to understand. I would like to visit London as a hole, but mainly the most popular places, such as the London Eye, the Tower of London, the Warner Bros studios where Harry Potter was filmed, Piccadilly circus, etc. Also, I would love to visit Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland, and Stonehenge.
